Eligibility

Applicant must be:

• An international student in a recognized Canadian institution of learning
• At least 4 years old and not more than 69 years old;
• In good health 
• Student’s spouse or dependent child and are living in Canada with student 

Features

Maximum liability: $5,000,000 CAD 

Maximum period of coverage: 365 days 

Emergency Medical coverage while in Canada,  or Emergency treatment outside Canada provided at least 51% of period  is spent in Canada (excludes expenses incurred in Home country visits)

Benefits

Hospital care: semi-private room

Physician charge: treatment by legally qualified physician, surgeon and  Anesthetist

Diagnostic service: laboratory tests and X-ray examination by prescription

Medical appliances: When prescribed by a physician and approved in advance by

Ontime Care, minor appliances such as casts, splints, canes, slings, trusses, braces, crutches and/or rental of a wheelchair.                               

Prescription drugs: Max $10,000. Limited 30 day supply 

Paramedical service: When prescribed by a physician treatment provided by a

licenced chiropodist, chiropractor, osteopath, physiotherapist or podiatrist up to a maximum of $600, provided a minimum of 183days of coverage has been purchased

Dental service: accidental injury to natural teeth to max $4,000/ relief of pain up to $600/ extraction of wisdom to max $150 

Family transportation: When approved in advance by Ontime Care up to $5,000

Repatriation: When approved in advance and arranged by Ontime Care.

Non- Emergency Treatment   
Annual medical exam up to $150 (minimum one year purchased)
Annual eye exam up to $100 (minimum one year purchased) 

Accidental Death & Dismemberment 
Maximum: $100,000 as a result of an accident.
